How many outtakes does it take you to get the perfect, well as close to perfect as possible, family photo? Over here, it takes more than a few! But I just love the little personalities that shine through…
It has only taken me a few years, but I have finally revised my family photo expectations; now they are realistic. All 5 eyes aren’t going to be open and looking directly at the camera. All 5 expressions won’t be smiles – we see serious faces and often times growling dinosaurs make an appearance. And all 5 people aren’t going to stand in place exactly where I think they should be while our poor photographer snaps away. With my new outlook, I am much more relaxed and can see the beauty in the outtakes.
