Have you been gorging with all of the Holiday parties?  This green smoothie is the perfect way to start the day off right.

All I wanted this very chilly morning was a nice cup of hot chocolate with a thick layer of whipped cream, chocolate sauce and maybe some chocolate chips!  But I decided to make a green smoothie instead.  It was delicious and my kids enjoyed it too!  See the recipe below.  Let us know if you like it as much as we do.

Green Smoothie Recipe

1 c. Kale

1 c. Raw Spinach

1 small green apple cut with skin

1/2 cucumber

1 lemon peeled

1 c. almond milk

1 small banana

1 tsp bee pollen (do not mix in)

Cut. Blend. Enjoy.
